windows 11 Microsoft EdgeDeflector

The Blue Screen of Death has been an integral part of the Windows operating system since Windows 3.0. It helps IT professionals diagnose and determine what caused a system failure. Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) in the new Windows 11 will change color and turn black, many users were very upset by this fact, but nothing can be done about it.

This week Microsoft decided to flood the news feeds and marked another event. Microsoft is known to have previously coerced Windows 10 and Windows 11 users to use the Edge browser along with its search engine. EdgeDeflector allows users to bypass restrictions and open search results in the Start menu in their default browser.

The unexpected happened – the fact that EdgeDeflector was blocked was noticed last week during the release of the beta version of Windows 11 22494. Many users considered it a common mistake, but it turned out to be not so simple. Windows has indeed permanently blocked EdgeDeflector and prevented app developers from intercepting microsoft-edge: // links and restricted the use of the Edge browser. Such extreme measures are not surprising at all, since Microsoft has long been known for its aggressive product promotion.
