The monthly PS Plus compilation was updated today with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and DiRT Rally 2.0 but many subscribers faced a critical problem that they can’t activate the Naughty Dog game.
The problem occurs first for those who have already played A Thief’s End or Lost Legacy especially in multiplayer.
As per description, the network currency which is apparently activated directly through the PS Store is the cause of the error. As a result the user can not activate the game because the store does not allow doing so because of the “purchased” currency.
Similar problems occur periodically in the PlayStation digital store. For example if a user has launched a game with an EA Access subscription he will not be able to purchase the game or activate it with another subscription until the end of EA Access.
Problems with activation have already been reported by many users on different sources so this time Sony may still have to do something because cases are clearly not isolated.
