Very soon users сan see exciting short videos of the popular social network on TVs and displays in restaurants, bars, gyms, medical offices, and more.

TikTok is being added to Atmosphere’s enterprise streaming TV package. About 19,000 businesses worldwide, including Taco Bell, Burger King, Meineke Car Care, Westin, and Texas Roadhouse, stream more than 60 Atmosphere TV channels, including Happy TV and Paws TV.

The atmosphere adds TikTok videos for the new channel, generating random videos and creating themed selections. The company gets permission from the video creators and adds licensed audio. That way viewers won’t see dance videos with new music hits.

Tik Tok’s Popularity

TikTok currently has over 1 billion users, but the audience is much younger than other popular platforms. But if videos from the app are planned to play in businesses, it could attract more older viewers.

TikTok is slowly beginning its transition from smartphones to TVs. In November, the TikTok TV app was released for Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, and other Android TV OS devices, as well as LG and Samsung smart TVs.  


Global businesses are already getting an Apple TV set-top box with the Atmosphere app. Sports bars and restaurants can play Atmosphere TV on some TVs and live games and other content on others. 

The number of businesses playing Atmosphere programs has doubled in the past year, and the company says it reaches more than 20 million unique visitors each month.
